Business Networking Forum
For the Industry, By the Industry

The Business Networking Forum, BNF in short, is conceived as a vibrant and meaningful platform for the industry and by the industry. It is in such fora that we together will address critical issues that affect the textile value chain; make sincere attempts to search for solutions; and seek to disseminate this valuable information to all concerned.

Business leaders, experts and policy-makers from India and overseas form the core Advisory Panel, which will evolve as time goes by. The endeavor is to garner support and representation from as wide a spectrum as possible where stake-holders from across the value chain can share their experiences, deliberate strategy, and provide critical inputs for framing a forward-looking policy for the country’s textile industry. But first, it is important to achieve convergence across all the linkages in the value chain.

Today India stands at a critical juncture in its quest to become a global economic powerhouse. And we would like to see contribution of the textile industry as one of the driving forces in fulfilling this quest. Today our textile industry clothes over one billion people at home. It has all the trappings of becoming a major clothier to the world as well.

BNF 2010 is an attempt toward initiating this convergence of thought and action. The concept is unique and extremely relevant in today’s context. However, its success depends heavily on the support and contribution from industry and policy makers.
